CALM Texting Service to End
The CALM texting service, a service which we developed to meet the needs of young men, will end on Oct 31st 2014. Take up of the service has been very low, despite our best efforts. By comparison, our other text-based support service, web chat, has experienced strong take-up and so we want to focus our resources on this and our helpline.
If you have been using the texting service please try out web-chat service on our website, open from 5pm to midnight, and see if this meets your needs. If you only want to use text support rather than our other services, then please accept our apologies. You can receive support via text at Samaritans on 07725909090 or HOPElineUK on 07786209697.
