The Calm Photography Movement has been founded in partnership with LYNX to spark conversation about masculinity, mental health and self-expression through photography, in aid of the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) has released the results of a suicide awareness survey to coincide with today’s new suicide figures that show 75% of UK suicides are male. Now 1 in 3 people in the UK are aware that suicide is the single biggest killer of men under 45.

New research published today shows the disproportionate impacts of mental health issues on men in the UK. Men are less likely than women to talk to anyone about being depressed, and more likely to exhibit risk-taking behaviour, reveals a report launched ahead of International Men’s Day by The Huffington Post UK and the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).
